Tyack Architects went back to basics with a hands-on visit to Northcot Bricks Ltd who have been making bricks by hand from the same locally quarried clay for nearly 100 years. An enjoyable lunch and introduction to the product range was followed by a tour of the traditional kilns and workshops, then the opportunity to make a brick.
