Evenlode, Gloucestershire
One and one and a half storey extension to a cottage within the Conservation Area of the village. A split-level arrangement follows the fall in the land to provide a contemporary kitchen /dining space that opens onto a sunken garden.
Altering and opening-up the existing areas and introducing more daylight into the interior transformed the dark, cellular nature of the traditional cottage into lighter, more free-flowing spaces.
Architectural services also included interior and landscape design and lighting.
