Donnington, Gloucestershire

Following decades of neglect the late 17th Century farmhouse had fallen into a dangerous state of disrepair.  The listed property was extensively repaired using traditional materials, which together with a refurbishment incorporating contemporary detailing and a significant kitchen extension, has created a light and airy family home.  A range of single storey outbuildings attached to the house had partially collapsed.  These were carefully reconstructed and converted to create guest accommodation and a wine cellar.

As part of a comprehensive re-modelling of the farmstead, consent was also achieved for a new access drive through an historic orchard enclosure, leading to a new double garage building with accommodation over.
